Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager to lead a complex S/4HANA migration initiative under the "RISE with SAP" program. This is a high-visibility role that requires hands-on leadership of an enterprise-wide SAP transformation effort. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the planning, execution, and delivery of a cloud-based SAP S/4HANA landscape, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and technical objectives.

This is a remote position with periodic travel (approximately 30%) to Bartow, FL, where on-site presence is needed for critical milestones, stakeholder meetings, and project workshops.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA RISE Migration project, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocations, schedules, risk logs, and progress reports.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between client stakeholders, SAP RISE teams, system integrators, and internal teams.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, functional, and business) involved in SAP migration, including BASIS, security, data, and infrastructure.

  • Manage migration from ECC to S/4HANA under the RISE with SAP model, including cloud infrastructure (e.g., SAP BTP, hyperscaler platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP).

  • Ensure project governance, change control, and stakeholder communication processes are well defined and followed.

  • Facilitate business process reviews and support change management efforts in collaboration with functional leads.

  • Lead steering committee meetings, status updates, and executive briefings.

  • Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contract terms and delivery milestones.


Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of SAP project management experience, with at least 3 years leading SAP S/4HANA programs.

  • Proven experience managing a RISE with SAP migration, including coordination with SAP’s RISE team and understanding of the service model.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA capabilities, migration paths (greenfield, brownfield, or selective data transition), and SAP Activate methodology.

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.

  • Experience managing cloud transitions, especially within SAP-hosted or hyperscaler environments.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional global teams in a hybrid environment.

  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc.).
