Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Project Manager with deep experience in managing complex SAP implementations and transformations within Department of Defense (DoD), Aerospace & Defense (A&D), or Federal Government environments. This individual will lead cross-functional teams, manage project scope, timeline, and budget, and ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions aligned with regulatory and security compliance standards unique to the federal sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead full lifecycle SAP project implementations, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases, with a focus on delivery excellence and client satisfaction.
Collaborate with DoD/Federal clients and stakeholders to understand requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans.
Oversee the delivery of SAP modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, FI/CO, MM, SD, WM, PP, etc.) ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance mandates such as ITAR, NIST, DFARS, and FedRAMP.
Manage multi-disciplinary teams (internal and third-party vendors), coordinate resources, and resolve project issues effectively.
Track and report on key project metrics, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring alignment with Earned Value Management (EVM) and other government reporting standards.
Conduct risk management assessments and develop mitigation strategies in high-security and regulated environments.
Ensure SAP solutions integrate with legacy systems and support business continuity in classified or mission-critical operations.
Develop and maintain documentation including project charters, business cases, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Foster strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor in digital transformation journeys.
